Revoke access & delete stored data
Authorized users remain in control of the Google and YouTube data they connect to Moore Content Intelligence.
Revoke Google/YouTube access
- Open Google’s third-party access / security permissions page.
- Select the Moore Content Intelligence connection associated with your account.
- Choose the option to remove or revoke access.
When MCI recognizes the revoked authorization, Google/YouTube Authorized Data stored pursuant to that consent will be deleted as soon as possible and no later than 7 calendar days, subject to information we may be legally required to retain.
Request deletion directly
You may also request deletion of stored MCI data directly without waiting for token revocation.
- Use the contact/social options on our official Beacons profile.
- State that this is an MCI data deletion request and identify the connected YouTube channel/account well enough for us to match the request.
- Do not send your password, OAuth token, API key, or other credential.
After the request is confirmed, the associated stored data will be deleted as soon as possible and no later than 7 calendar days.
Important: deleting data stored by MCI does not delete videos, comments, analytics records or other information stored by YouTube. To delete data from YouTube itself, use YouTube or another authorized client that supports the relevant deletion action.
